The day began and continued to be very wet so we were not too disappointed not to be going anywhere fast. Mike set up his facilities in the front cabin so that Christine could move around elsewhere and also to do some washing.
She also walked into town md morning and was disappointed to find that the shopping centre was no longer as vibrant as we found it on previous visits about ten years ago.
Mike's meeting started at 9 and was due to finish at 1. However, further discussion was needed and it was agreed to continue after a short lunch break. He was eventually 'released' just after 3 but by now the weather was not very inviting - wind had joined the rain - so we very quickly agreed to stay put for the night! The chimney was put in place and the stove swiftly brought into action.
